Lesions

Some patients are affected by unsightly growths on and around the eyelids. Although most of these lesions merely represent cosmetic problems, they can sometime compromise the health of the eye.

These lesions may be formed by viral or fungal infections, which can cause chronic eye irritation. Occasionally, they may represent early skin cancers. A timely biopsy and removal can completely cure many of these conditions.
